The Wilson Mules Alumni Association ("WMAA") has received a donation of $68,900 from the Estate of Nina Byers. The Executor of Ms. Byers' will has instructed that these funds are to be used exclusively for college scholarship purposes. In the coming months, the WMAA scholarship committee will meet with the Executor of Ms. Byers will to determine the specific scholarship qualifying criteria. Nina Byers (January 19, 1930 - June 5, 2014) was a Theoretical Physicist, Research Professor and Professor of Physics Emeritus in the Department of Physics, UCLA. The WMAA is extremely grateful to be the benefactor of this considerable donation. Many college bound Wilson students will benefit greatly from the generosity of Ms. Byers.
