1978 Wilson Throwback Jersey

The Wilson Mules Alumni Association is proud to unveil this year’s Throwback Jersey commemorating the achievement of the 1978 LA City Championship Football Team. The 1978 team was Wilson’s fourth consecutive and final LA City Football Championship of the 1970’s dynasty. Wilson’s football record following the 1975, 1976, 1977, and 1978 football seasons was an astonishing 50-1-0. The 1978 Championship team, Co-Head-coached by Augie Lambert and Stan Katase, featured LA City Player of the Year QB Steve Clarkson, 3-Time LA City Football Champion and 2-Time All City OT Mike “Big Boy” Ramirez, as well as five other All City players and a host of many other talented Mighty Mules.

Each Throwback Jersey sells for $125 (add $20 if shipping is required) and can be ordered in any size and with any one or two digit jersey number. Each jersey comes with three distinctive sublimated emblems. One emblem commemorates the 1978 team, one emblem memorializes the game to be played vs. Franklin on October 4, 2019, and the last emblem features the Seymour logo of authenticity. The state-of-the-art sublimation printing process ensures that your jersey will never fade, peel or crack.

Proceeds from the sale of these high quality, custom sublimated jerseys will help equip each  Wilson varsity football player with a game day Throwback Jersey and provide the team with funds needed to help support the Mighty Mules football program.

The deadline to place your Throwback Jersey order(s) is August 15, 2019.
